Where The Sun Fallz

An eclectic west coast masterpiece, The debut album from 4eleven is full of nothing but true west coast hip hop. Constructed like a movie with the score to match, he takes us on a wild and sometimes very personal ride of passion and emotions while giving us a glimpse into the much often overlooked Latino point of view of the ghettos of Los Angeles.

Begining with the street banger “Come & Get Me” where he boldly states “We in troublesome times/ It seems these industry kats ran outta rhymes/” and the infectious hook, this is definitely for the late nite ridaz. He switches gears but doesn’t stray far in the ode to the only things he loved on “Only U” one of the stand out classics and most downloaded songs off iTunes for this project.

He takes us back to the block on “Look at U” the T-nut (founder of The Pricks, and Eastsidaz producer)produced banger about fakers and haterz(U know who you are!).

On “Swirvin” he gives us a passionate but somewhat disturbing lovestory of the love of his life…Alcohol. Truly a must listen as it can easily be mistaken for a song about a girl.

In between the hustle and pain he leaves us with a story of Sucess and failure with “Euthenasia” where the most likely outcome for a drug dealer usally takes us. Its not the plot of the story that is unfamiliar, its the way its delivered with poetic precision and the end of the album leaves you waiting for the sequel…hopefully coming soon!!
